Forum: opensource_audio Subject: Day Three [100% resolved]: What Happened To The CabaleNewsServices Collection?

February 23 update 1030 pst:

The dropdown is back and the rss feed has updated with today's entry, but the 21st and 22nd's entries are in the open_source collection and not in the CabaleNewsServices collection or it's feed.

The collection field is 'locked' on the edit page and I don't know if I have the admin privileges to move them, or how to, even if I did, but whether the feed has them or not, I need assistance moving them to the CabaleNewsServices collection.

Is there a tutorial in the house?

Thanks for the help.

February 22 update 0953 pst:

No change.

The spotlight item, tth_070221 was tagged as such by the site software and I can change it, and did, to 070222 on the CabaleNewsService detail page editor even though it isn't part of the collection (not sure if that matters).

However, I still have no dropdown entry for that collection, just opensource, and the 'recent additions' link is rapidly becoming the "All entries before February 21" link and the RSS feed is stuck on February 20 2007

Is there a technician in the house?

February 21 update::

The files are on site and functional, but something else is wrong. Today's upload is the "spotlight item" @ the CabaleNewsServices details page even though it wasn't uploaded to that collection.

I didn't, couldn't, do that... and I don't believe the software on IA's site has ever added a spotlight item without my manual intervention.

Original posting:

I uploaded the daily files, and the detail page with the dropdowns did not show the CabaleNewsServices collection.

I've placed the files in opensource for now, and if and when the collection is available for uploading again, I will need basic instruction for transfering the files over. I was unable to change the collection type in the details page. The field is locked.

BTW, if it can be changed without TOTALLY bunging up the filesystem, it's Cabale News SERVICE.

If not... no big deal.

Hi,

I've moved the OSA items into your collection - they'll start showing up there once the search engine updates (generally takes a few hours).

Thanks,

Alexis
